
What can I use the unlocked money for?
You can use the money immediately to pay off debt, make improvements to your home, or any other financial obligations!!

Who owns the home initially?
Homebase buys out the property from you initially. However, you have the option to pay back the unlocked portion and transfer back the property anytime.

How is the buyback price determined?
The buyback price is based on a fixed YoY appreciation percentage over Initial price - approximately 6%/year assuming unlocking 50%. Calculate your exact price here.

How much do I have to pay each month?
At minimum, deposit just the monthly appreciation. Or, if you want to fully buy back by the end of the contract, deposit both the appreciation and the unlocked portion each month.

What happens if I have an existing mortgage?
Homebase can help unlock equity from homes that do not have existing liens or obligations (including mortgages) on the property.

What type of homes can I unlock equity from?
Homebase can unlock equity from any type of property (apartments, condotels, officetels, villas, land) with verified legal status based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

What happens if I can no longer commit to buying the property?
That’s fine! For whatever reason that you can no longer afford the house, Homebase will take over and find a new buyer for you, and you will be able to cash out your savings. We will, however, ask you to pay the necessary fees associated with selling the property.
